CMI Tech BMT-20

The BMT-20 is a binocular system for simultaneous double iris capture designed for recruitment applications, especially very large-scale programs.
The instructions are easy for both the operator and the subject. The user is simply prompted to raise the BMT-20 to their eyes as if they were binoculars by touching the strap on their forehead to the object just above their eyebrows. After positioning the device, they are asked to center their eyes in the interior mirror, keeping them wide open. The system does all the work of finding the irises and capturing biometric samples. The BMT-20 is extremely efficient: when the subject's eyes are centered, images of the iris are captured within.
The BMT-20 meets the stringent IP64 requirements which means it is highly resistant to contamination with even the smallest airborne particles such as dust and dirt. The system also includes an internal white LED which is used to narrow the pupil diameter of the examined person to a constant level, thus improving the quality of the registration image even in poor lighting conditions.
