Light Emitting Sensor Technology (LES)

Integrated Biometrics scanners use patented LES light-emitting sensor technology to deliver FBI-certified desktop and mobile fingerprint imaging in an extremely durable, lightweight scanner.

LES-based biometric solutions provide excellent image quality in both direct and indirect sunlight and are resistant to finger contaminants such as grease, oil, water, dust and chemicals.

LES technology is the only biometric technology that can meet the FBI's stringent image performance requirements in a "thin" form factor (less than 1 mm thick). Whether integrating with smartphones, tablets or other mobile solutions, LES offers the smallest and lightest forensic-grade roll scanners available on the market today, 90-95% smaller and lighter than traditional optical scanners.
