FS28 FIPS201/PIV Bluetooth Fingerprint Scanner
The Futronic FS28 Bluetooth Fingerprint Scanner combines a powerful optical fingerprint scanner and a Bluetooth module into one device. Under the control of any Bluetooth-enabled host device, it can capture a fingerprint on-site at any time and transmit it to the host device via Bluetooth. This allows the user to easily capture a fingerprint using a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet, where Bluetooth is an almost standard interface, and then transmit it to a remote Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) via a cellular network. The FS28 is a good tool for mobile identification because it can be carried by law enforcement officers.
